
for literally YEARS, i have wanted to do a hometown concert series where you and i team up to create our own event. i think now is the time, and i’m diving in head first!
i want to introduce to you the [ Live + Local ] tour – the tour that you and i get to create together! i love playing live music so so much, but what i would love even MORE is the opportunity to play my songs for those that are on this journey with me – in YOUR element (!!!), in YOUR hometown, on YOUR land, with YOUR people! wouldn’t that be amazing!?!
i can see it now – bonfire is going, blankets are spread, crickets are chirping, and we get to hang out on YOUR turf, making music and memories!!
if you’ve been following along, you know i’m working on a new album – i want to bring that album to you and give you and your crew a first listen to what i’ve been working on! that’s quite possibly what i’m most excited about on this tour. not only will it be amazing to get to hang out in a much more intimate capacity than a traditional concert, but you’ll get a much more behind the scenes look at what i’m creating!
so let’s make it happen!! literally the only thing you need to provide is the desire to host and the space – i can bring the rest!! i’m so excited to come to your hometown!!
common questions (though i’m sure i’m missing some of them)
– how do you pick the date?
when you submit your bid for the show, you can give me some suggestions of when you’d like to have the show as well as some No Go dates that you absolutely cannot host – we will work together to choose the date from there!
– can i even afford this? how much does something like this cost?
i want to do these shows on a “what you can pay” basis. my main goal is making this about you, so while i can’t do this for free, i do want to make this work for those that are super stoked to host a show!
– how do people pay for stuff like this?
some people are able to throw a house party and foot the bill and some aren’t. – i totally get that! you can fund this however you’d like – gather some friends together and see what everyone is willing to throw in, make it a ticketed event, ask for donations, etc.
– how many shows will you be taking on?
i’m going to let the universe decide that – the sky is the limit! as many places as i can get to, i’m going to try my best to make it all happen!
– what kind of space is required?
well, i can make just about anything work. but ideally, this is a backyard, a barn, a well ventilated garage situation, etc. bonfires welcomed and encouraged, tiki torches, bistro lights, the whole bit. i’ll bring the instruments, the sound, and the music. i just need a space to play and a plug!
– what about rain and weather?
the show must go on as they say, so ideally we would have a covered contingency plan in place! it would be awesome if this could still be an outdoor / open air space, but we can talk about options.
– how long of a performance will you play?
depending on individual details and situations, we can have some flexibility here, but ideally, the show would start at 7pm and go until about 8:30pm. this allows for hang out time afterward and people to get home on time if it’s a weekday show. you can have your event start whenever you’d like, though – tell your people to come at 5 or 6 for some good pre-show hangs! it’s your party! throw it how you want to!
