to tell you the truth, it’s taken quite a long t to tell you the truth, it’s taken quite a long time for me to be able to look in the mirror and not be at odds with the person looking back at me 🫶🏼 i’ve never been the selfie type. never the “mirror pic” or outfit of the day type. 🙄 and while i’m still not convinced that either of those things are any measure whatsoever of our self love or self worth, it is nice to be able to do so without the fear, shame, and harsh self judgement. i took this photo the other day because i felt comfortable in my makeup-less skin and these inexpensive clothes i’ve literally had forever.
